Hypalon rubber sheet

Hypalon rubber sheeting has excellent resistance to ozone, weather, acids, heat and abrasion, and properly compounded products show excellent weathering resistance. High tensile strength is characteristic of hypalon vulcanizate. Hypalon rubber also has fair resistance to petroleum based fluids.

Compounds can be formulated for excellent abrasion resistant and for brittle temperatures for -30℃ to +180℃. Its general Shore Hardness is 65° ± 5. Hypalon vulcanizates show excellent resistant to corrosive chemicals. They have excellent electrical properties. They can also be compounded for good flame resistance.

Chloro-sulfonated polyethylene, also known as Hypalon, is a polymer that is soft and elastic at room temperature after the structure of polyethylene is destroyed by chlorination and sulfonation. As an elastomer with a fully saturated main chain, the aging resistance, ozone resistance and chemical resistance of chloro-sulfonated polyethylene are much better than that of natural styrene-butadiene, butadiene, nitrile, and other unsaturated rubber.

Production Line

Our rubber sheet starts from raw material, through opening, compacting, and calendering to form raw rubber sheet.

After that, it enters the drum vulcanizing machine (plate vulcanizing machine is used for block plate) to carry out the vulcanization reaction. During the vulcanization process, we control the time, temperature, and amount of the vulcanizing agent.

After vulcanization, we cut the rubber sheet into small rolls of different lengths according to different needs and packed them for transportation and use.
